Search warrant leads police to meth and guns

Investigators executing a search warrant in Orange discovered large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine along with multiple firearms and arrested two people on Oct. 29, reports the Orange Police Department.

In a news release, OPD Captain Cliff Hargrave reports officers with OPD Narcotics, along with the Orange County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division and the Texas Rangers executed a search warrant at 314 Bridal Wreath in Orange at about 4:20 p.m. after receiving information that the residents of the home there were involved in methamphetamine distribution, and had solicited subjects to commit a murder for hire.   

An investigation was conducted and a search warrant for the residence was obtained, along with arrest warrants for 44-year-old Samuel Clark Mclellan and 32-year-old Ann Marie Guilbeaux. Both subjects were present at the residence and were taken into custody. During the search of the residence, officers found and seized approximately two-and-a-half ounces of methamphetamine and two ounces of cocaine, along with two rifles and two handguns.

Both subjects were charged with criminal solicitation, a first-degree felony, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony.
