Squabble over "Love Interests" leads to stabbing

A 29-year-old man arguing with his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend turned violent early Saturday morning when Clint Owens stabbed William Castille, the Port Arthur Police reported in a statement.

Clint Owens and Castille, 41, were apparently arguing over said female's "love interests" when as police say, at some point during the disagreement, Owens "gained possession of a small knife and stabbed Castille several times." Castille was stabbed on the side of his abdomen cavity according to police and received medical treatment at St. Mary's in Port Arthur. The injuries are not life-threatening. The incident occurred at 3349 18th St. and police received the call at approximately 2:03 AM Saturday, July 23. 

As a result of the stabbing, Owens, who was found a short time after the attack, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was booked in to the Jefferson County Jail where his bond has been set at $30,000.
