Teens arrested for Dunkin’ robbery

Officers from the Beaumont Police Department were called to the E. Lucas Dunkin Donuts shortly after midnight Thursday, Jan. 12, on a report of a robbery. An employee told officers that two black male subjects entered the store wearing blue jeans, dark sweatshirts, and dark blue ski masks. The eyes and mouth were cut out of the masks, the witness said. One subject pointed a black, small frame revolver at the employee and demanded the money in the register, according to the victim’s complaint. The employee complied and the suspects left the store through the front door running west.

Officers observed two black males fleeing from the area on foot. The males were discovered hiding in dumpsters in the alley behind the Village Shopping Center along with a .22 cal handgun. K-9 officers ran a back track and discovered the ski masks worn by the suspects near the cell tower behind What-a-burger.

The suspects, arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, were 19-year-olds Jeremy and Trivon Joubert.
