Three arrests in narcotics bust

Orange County Sheriff's deputies, Orange Police officers and DEA agents arrested three people for methamphetamine distribution after executing a search warrant Feb. 18, reports the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).

In a news release, OCSO Detective Chad Hogan reported at approximately 8 a.m., Narcotics Investigators with the City of Orange Police Department along with Narcotics Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and the DEA executed a search warrant and two arrest warrants at a residence located at 3310 Pine Ridge in Orange. Gary Dean Martin, 55, Laurie Revis Martin, 43 were both arrested at the residence for distribution of methamphetamine warrants issued by the United States Attorney’s Office out of the Eastern District of Texas as the result of a five-month undercover operation. Also arrested for the same charge at a separate location was 23-year-old Britni Revis Martin. 

Sheriff Keith Merritt said he will continue to dedicate all necessary resources to combat illegal drug activities in the community.
