Three charged in robbery with airsoft pistol

Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 5:35 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to a robbery at the Express Mart No. 10  at 2210 Interstate 10. Upon arrival, officers found that two men had come into the store, and one was armed with what looked like a revolver. The subjects demanded money and cigarettes, and then left the store and got into a small white pickup which was parked outside.

Officers put out the vehicle description on radio, and the vehicle was quickly located in the area of Calder near E. Circuit.  There were three subjects in the truck, and two of the subjects matched the description of the suspects. An airsoft pistol that looked like a revolver but can shoot only plastic pellets was found inside the bed of the truck.

The suspects were arrested and taken to the station for questioning, and then transported to the Jefferson County Jail.  All three subjects were charged with the robbery: Randy Deshawn Kelly, 21; Artis Jermaine Brown, 21; and Christopher Domique Flannigan 18.
