Two injured in aggravated assault
On Thursday, March 17, Beaumont police officers were dispatched to Fast Lane along Interstate 10 in reference to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, they were advised by the two black male victims, a 34 and 32-year-old Beaumont males, and the witness, an 18-year-old man from Beaumont, that they had been at a residence in the 500 block of Palm spending the night with a female that they had just met.
They stated that they were awakened by several subjects who ran in the house and started beating them. One victim (the 34-year-old male) was stabbed, the second victim was struck in the face with a long gun and the other "witness" was unharmed. The actors then left the house. The victims all got in one of the victim's vehicle and were en-route to the hospital when a tire blew and they came to a stop at the Fast Lane.
The victims and witness were all from Beaumont and did not know the female's name or have any suspect information.
The stabbing victim was transported to St. Elizabeth and taken to surgery.
