Two teens suffer gunshot wounds in Prince Hall shooting

Police are investigating a weekend shooting at Prince Hall Apartments in Port Arthur that left two teens with gunshot wounds and possibly injured another unknown individual, reports the Port Arthur Police Department. 

According to a news release from PAPD, officers responded to the apartment complex at 934 W. 14th Street in Port Arthur at nearly midnight on March 12 in after receiving multiple 911 calls about shots being fired at the location. A short time later, two shooting victims believed to have been injured in the Prince Hall incident showed up at St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. The two victims, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were in stable condition following the shooting. Witnesses told invesitgators another person was also struck by gunfire, but police had not identified the third injured party at the time of the news release. 

Port Arthur spokesperson LaRisa Carpenter said 14 shots were fired during the shooting at the complex. 

No arrests have yet been made related to the shooting. Police report the victims and witnesses have been less than cooperative. The investigation into the aggravated assault is ongoing.
