In anticipation of the new city service, Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames and City Manager Kyle Hayes took the first ride in Beaumont.

“The City Council and I are very pleased we were able to work with Uber officials and our City staff on a transportation network company ordinance that provides for a safe, affordable, and efficient alternative benefitting our residents and visitors that also brings innovative transportation solutions to our community,” Ames said.
