U.S. District Court announces Law Day art contest finalists for 2017

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas hosted the 2017 Law Day Art Contest Ceremony for the finalists of the contest.

Scholarships ranging from $1000 for first place, $750 for second place, $500 for third place and $250 for fourth place were awarded. The contest was open to high school students (Grades 9-12) attending public and private schools within the boundaries of the Beaumont Division of the Eastern District of Texas.

The counties served by the Beaumont division are: Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton and Orange.
