Vehicles collide, one catches fire

There was a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at Taylor's Bayou in Jefferson County at approximately 7 am Monday, Oct. 19, 2015.

According to Trooper Stephanie Davis, both a Dodge and a Freightliner were traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 at Taylor's Bayou. It is unclear as to which vehicle failed to drive in a single lane before the two collided. After impact, the Dodge caught fire.

The driver of the Dodge, James McClendon of Houston, was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler, Fred Thompson of Houston, was not injured. There are no further details at this time.
