In an effort to alert drivers and manage traffic incidents, the Texas Department of Transportation is installing warning signs along Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
Signs are currently being installed with the warning “DETOUR WHEN FLASHING, IH10 CLOSED IN Beaumont” to let drivers know if the interstate is closed in Beaumont, according to a press release from TxDOT.
Command of the Army’s 842nd Transportation Battalion changed hands Thursday, June 13, during a ceremony at the battalion’s headquarters at the Port of Beaumont. Lt. Col. Michael J. Arnold handed command over to Lt. Col. Darrin M. Bowser.
