Three people were arrested in Orange County Tuesday, March 12 after a Crime Stoppers tip led sheriff’s deputies to discover approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine worth an estimated value of $5,500 at an apartment in Mauriceville.

Orange police are looking for a suspect in a burglary that took place in the 1100 block of 17th St.

Police have determined what caused the death of a 4-year-old who was found unresponsive in Fannett Tuesday, March 12. 

According to a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff, police responded to a home in the 11300 block of Wiggins Road in Fannett about 11:40 a.m.

Police in Orange are investigating a burglary in the 2200 block of Westway St. reported Thursday morning. According to a report from OPD, someone broke in and stole the copper wiring from the victim's home while she was away.

The baseball season for athletes participating in Adaptive Sports for Kids (ASK) kicked off on a cold and windy Saturday, March 2, at Doornbos Park in Nederland.
