Two Beaumont residents are in custody for three counts of aggravated robbery after police say the two male suspects robbed three people, stealing the victims' cell phones when they refused to buy marijuana from the men.

Many weekend travelers of Interstate 10 in Orange County and across the Louisiana state line experienced delays resulting from two separate multi-vehicle accidents July 17, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Stephanie Davis reported. 

According to Davis, DPS was alerted to both accidents at around the same time, 3:50 p.m.

Young people in the United Methodist Action Reach-out Ministry by Youth (UM ARMY) from the Richmond/Rosenberg area southwest of Houston this year performed their annual one-week summer volunteer outreach camp in Southeast Texas. Included were 23 ninth graders, 14 tenth graders, 19 eleventh graders, 16 twelfth graders, 6 college-aged youth leaders and 53 adults.
