On Friday, July 7, at about 1:07 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to K & K Designs located at 1315 Calder Avenue in reference to a burglar alarm, Officer Haley Morrow said in a release.

Suspect vehicle in Fuddrucker’s robbery

On Monday, July 10, at 7:34 a.m., Beaumont Police officers responded to a call for police at Fuddruckers, located at 4545 Dowlen Road, Officer Carol Riley said in a release.  

Upon arrival, officers were advised two white males wearing disguises entered an unsecured side door. They approached a female employee and secured her in a back room.  They forced the manager to open a safe, demanded money, and fled out the same door they entered.

The Beaumont Police Department has confirmed there was an alleged aggravated family violence assault reported by the wife of former Beaumont ISD electrician Calvin Walker the evening of Monday, July 10, but did not report an arrest connected to the incident.

Police in Orange are searching for two suspects who robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint July 10.

Shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, July 10, reports started to come into the Beaumont Police Department that former Beaumont ISD electrician Calvin Walker and wife Stacy were involved in a domestic disturbance that escalated from their home on Roland Road to another part of the city, with witnesses claiming that Calvin, while driving in a black truck, ran into the vehicle driven by his wife as she attempted to flee.

Further reports are that Calvin Walker also damaged at least one other vehicle at the home before chase ensued that took the couple from their home.

Local law enforcers executing a narcotics search warrant in the 3100 block of Gulf Street in Beaumont reportedly found meth, marijuana and a cache of weapons - weapons that officers believe could be related to recent gun violence in the area.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 35-year-old Beaumont man that occurred on Magnolia Street in an area of the city that has been recently rocked by gun violence, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

According to BPD, officers responded to a shooting in the 3700 block of Magnolia at 11:05 p.m. on June 29. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a deceased male victim with gunshot wounds lying in the grassy area near the apartment complex. Police identified the man as Cedathion Rashard Dill.
