Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrested two people on Tuesday, Feb. 18, after a search warrant executed at approximately 9 p.m. that evening reportedly lead them to discover 15 grams of methamphetamine at the residence located in the 3200 block of Stephenson Road in Orangefield.

A car collided with a city bus at the corner of Washington and Avenue C.

A car accident involving a city bus on the corner of Washington and Avenue C at about 2 p.m. Feb. 18 sent three people to the hospital. Officer Reynolds of the Beaumont Police Department said a Buick Lesabre was traveling east on Washington Boulevard when it collided with the bus at the intersection of Avenue C. Witnesses say the bus appeared to be turning onto Washington from Avenue C but instead continued straight.

Police in Pinehurst, intent on combating juvenile mischief, arrested two youths in possession of firearms Monday, Feb. 17, according to a news release from Chief Fred R. Hanauer III.

A single-car wreck in Vidor on Friday afternoon injured the vehicle's driver, who was later arrested in relation to the accident.

According to DPS Trooper Stephanie Davis, troopers responded to an accident involving a Mercury passenger car on Interstate 10 East in Vidor around mile marker 860 at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 14.
