        BEAUMONT, Texas – A 41-year-old Grayson, Georgia man has been sentenced for hurricane-related fraud in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Morris Joseph pleaded guilty on Aug. 26, 2010, to making a false claim and was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay $18,188.84 in restitution by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark on Mar. 22, 2011.

BEAUMONT, Texas – A 19-year-old Port Arthur, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for gun violations as a result of Operation Time Machine in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

        Rondell Ramon Malveaux pleaded guilty on Sep. 2, 2010 to federal charges of receiving a firearm while under indictment and was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark.

ODESSA – Former Winkler County Memorial Hospital administrator Stan Wiley pleaded guilty today to abuse of official capacity. The defendant’s guilty plea stems from his decision to fire two nurses after they filed an anonymous complaint with the Texas Medical Board against one of the hospital’s physicians.

LUFKIN, Texas – A 48-year-old Lufkin man has pleaded guilty to disposing of hazardous wastes without a permit in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today. 

David Overdorf pleaded guilty to disposing of hazardous wastes without a permit on Mar. 18, 2011 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Earl S. Hines.
