Good morning, morning glory! And aren’t they glorious indeed? These beautiful blooms last only a day, but what a treat for that day.

Wikipedia reminds us that “morning glory” is the common name for over 1,000 species of flowering plants in the family Convolvulaceae. That’s certainly a mouthful for those flowers that unravel into full bloom in the early morning and disappear later that day. The petals start to fade about the time their edges start to ravel.
