Tonight, the Hawks take on Kilgore College, a team tied with Lamar State and San Jacinto College for second place in the region behind Navarro, which is 5-1.

Lonnie McClanahan, a sophomore guard, leads the Rangers with 12.2 points a game, while teammate Quinton Upshur, also a sophomore guard, is averaging 12.0 points a game. Today’s game is the start of a four-game home stand by the Hawks with LSC-PA facing non-conference foes Lone Star College-Tomball on Saturday, Jan. 12, and Houston Community College-Northwest on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Lamar State returns to Region XIV play on Saturday, Jan. 19.
