Warren High School has hired John Woodard to be its new football coach and athletic director. Woodard replaces Kevin Barbay, who resigned in March to become an assistant football coach at Lamar University.
Woodard, 52, comes over from Class A Ganado where he served as the defensive coordinator the last two seasons as the team went 22-2 during that span. He was last a head coach at Class A Union Hill for two seasons and finished 4-16.
