18-wheeler crash

A major traffic crash on I-10 westbound at mile marker 846 involving eight vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, resulted in the death of one adult and three children the morning of Thursday, Sept. 20. 

According to a press release from Beaumont Police Department, officers responded to a major traffic crash on I-10 westbound at mile marker 846 (near South Major Drive) at 6:25 a.m. The crash involved an 18-wheeler and seven other passenger vehicles with multiple occupants. It was reported that several vehicles were on fire.


A pickup truck and 18-wheeler were involved in a crash near the intersection of FM 105 and FM 1132 in Orange County Monday, May 14.

Sergeant Stephanie Davis of Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on FM 105 followed by a 1997 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer. As the driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck began to stop for a traffic light, his vehicle was rear-ended by the 18-wheeler.
