Gerry the dog

Gerry is a sweet pup who had a hard beginning! He was seized by the Orange PD in September after he was left in a car for over an hour with three other dogs. The other dogs ganged up on Gerry, who suffered extensive bite wounds. Orange Animal Control seized Gerry, and the Humane Society wants to give him a fresh start. A dachshund at about 27 pounds and maybe 3 and a half years old, he’s very handsome and playful, and would make a perfect addition to any family. Gerry gets along well with other dogs and adores attention! He has lots of energy, so a fenced in yard is a must.

Finn the German Shepherd

Finn is a 68-pound Shepherd mix. Finn is an adult male and is very energetic and silly, fun-loving doggie just begging for attention. He craves affection and prefers to be the only dog being loved on. Finn would do well with older children because of his very playful disposition. Sadly, Finn has been at Beaumont Animal Care since Nov. 6, and no one has shown interest in this fine fellow! He deserves more than a life at the shelter. Visit Finn at 1884 Pine St., Beaumont.

Sienna the chocolate lab

Sienna is a young adult female chocolate lab and weighs about 45 pounds. Sienna has been at the shelter since late October and is such a sweet dog that we cannot believe no one has adopted her. She has a wonderful personality, loves the water and enjoys play-time. She is curious and gets along with other dogs. She is tired of the cold concrete floor and yearns for a soft bed. Sienna would be the perfect dog for a hike or camping, or long walks on the beach. If you are looking for love and a loyal companion, Sienna is waiting for you!

Hooch is quickly stealing the hearts of all the ladies at the shelter. Before long, he’ll steal yours too! Hooch has big feet and an even bigger heart. He weighs 70 pounds, and we believe he is around 2-3 years young. Hooch, an American bulldog mix, is gentle and will be your loyal friend until the end! No. 28461

Hi, Guys! Aren’t my eyes hypnotizing? My name is Zorro and I’m a shepherd/Lab mix who is about 2 years old. I love to play with toys and run around with my doggie friends. I’d love a home with children, but I can be a little clumsy, so bigger kids would be best. If you are interested in me, please contact BAS and ask for me Zorro, No. 27896.

Greetings, everyone! My name is House. I’m a lovely lady who is 2 years young, and I weigh 10 pounds. I’m affectionate with my human friends and sure do love to be petted. I love to watch the world go by, but I would prefer to do so in my new home. I came in with my sister but she already got adopted, so now I’m just waiting here all alone. I can be an inside/outside cat or strictly inside cat — I don’t mind either way. I’m already spayed and I’ve got all of my vaccinations. If you are interested in me, please contact BAS and ask for No. 27573.

Sasha should really be named chatty Kathy. When you walk into the cat room at the shelter, Sasha is always the first to say hello. She just loves to have conversations with BAS staff and even chirps. She’s a young, beautiful tabby cat around 8 months old and has big bright yellow eyes. Take a look at her super long tail; it is rather bushy and has really cool stripes on it. Please stop by the shelter and fill out an adoption application. The cost to adopt her is $30, and she is fully vaccinated and ready to go home with you.

Maximus, a young male blue heeler approximately 1 1/2 years old, is available for adoption. He’s current on all his vaccinations and neutered. Blue heelers are working dogs, so he’ll need a big yard or, even better, a ranch or farm setting. Heelers are herding dogs, so homes with young children are not recommended. Maximus is alert and watchful and would be a great guardian for people and property.

Stop clowning around and get down to the shelter to adopt Clarabelle! Clarabelle is a 1-year 8-month old Terrier mix. She was first adopted from the shelter when she was a little pup but recently her adopters brought her back. This was due to no fault of Clarabelle. She has a beautiful russet and brown coat with handsome white bib and socks. She is a small dog and ever so sweet!

Are you looking for a sweet, petite tabby? Well, meet Mollie. She likes warms baths, being held like a baby and looking out the window. She loves to play with toys and even gets along well with small dogs. Mollie is a 2-year old, 8.02-pound, female domestic shorthair mix, a grey and black tabby. She has very distinct stripes and intense, green eyes that implore you to take her home! Mollie was found by a kind individual who brought her to the shelter to find a loving, forever home.
