Along with many other cities around the nation celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) week in October in local schools, BASF TOTAL Petrochemical's African American Employee Group (AAEG) celebrated STEM week in Port Arthur.

Forty-five BASF Beaumont plant employees and contractors participated in the plant’s bi-annual Adopt-a-Highway trash pick-up event to clean up a two mile section of the highway located near the plant site, the company announced Oct. 31 in a statement.

Event participants collected more than 1000 pounds of trash during the event.

PORT ARTHUR, TX, November 30, 2015 - BASF TOTAL Petrochemicals LLC recently awarded $25,000 to the United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County.
