Beaumont Police have released an update on the Yasin Jones homicide, which took place Thursday June 7 at 5680 Concord.

Beaumont Police have begun investigating a homicide at the Concord Manor Apartments Thursday, June 7.

The investigation follows a report to Beaumont Police that around 9:20 a.m., 24-year-old Beaumont man, Yasin Jones arrived at St. Elizabeth Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, before passing away. The police received information that the homicide could have occurred in the 5600 block of Concord. 

Next of kin have been notified.

A 20-year-old Beaumont man was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday night, April 9, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

Investigators are attempting to determine what caused the death of a 58-year-old man found lying unconscious on a city sidewalk April 8, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

According to Officer Haley Morrow, officers responded to the 2600 block of Irving in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located Eustiseu Rocha lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Rocha was pronounced deceased on the scene by Beaumont EMS. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Cause of death is unknown at this time pending autopsy.

A Beaumont shooting is under investigation after the victim attempted to drive to the hospital on Saturday night, April 7.

Beaumont police arrested a local man for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend as she was packing up to move out of their shared home and then striking his own sister who stepped in to try to help the other victim, reports Officer Carol Riley.

Two victims of gunshot wounds were transported to a local hospital after Beaumont Police officers responded to a report of a shooting on S. Martin Luther King Parkway on the night of Tuesday, April 1. Officers located two victims, a male and female inside a apartment bleeding from gunshot wounds they had sustained.

Aggravated robbery suspect Brendan McGee, 20, of Beaumont was arrested Saturday, March 31. Sgt. Cody Guedry reported that Mcgee was wanted for armed robberies of victims in a facebook scam for a vehicle. McGee was transported to the Jefferson County Jail and booked in for two aggravated robbery warrants.
