Agriculture students at Odom Academy celebrated with teacher Will Humber after he received a grant from the Beaumont Public Schools Foundation for gardening equipment to serve his classes and other participating middle school students during the organization’s Fall grant caravan Thursday, Dec. 17. For his “Gardens Galore” project, Humber received supplies from a grant totaling $ 964.95 including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, water hoses, all-natural fertilizers and insecticides, potting soil and seed trays.

The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation delivered happy surprises to select Beaumont Independent School District staff and one student Thursday, Dec. 19, during the foundation’s fall grant caravan. Seven grant winners for fall 2013 received more than $6,600 in requested materials necessary for innovative classroom projects.

The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation (BPSF), Inc. is holding their 21st Annual Fiesta Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Crazy Jose’s located at 6420 Phelan Blvd. in Beaumont starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 9 a.m. The minimum donation for a ticket to attend is $20, and that will go toward educational grants for Beaumont Independent School District staff and students.

The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, Inc. (BPSF) will hold its 21st Annual BPSF Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Brentwood Country Club in Beaumont. The BPSF annual golf tournament is the largest fundraising event the Foundation hosts.

The Beaumont Public School Foundation Inc. (BPSF) recently celebrated its 20th year of serving the staff and students of the Beaumont Independent School District (BISD). In honor of the anniversary, BPSF honored charter members at the BPSF Annual Meeting on Friday, May 24, hosted by Sallie Curtis Elementary at 6225 N.

The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation’s grant caravan visited local campuses Friday, May 3, to “grant” the wishes of a number of students and staff of BISD. Several grants were distributed during surprise presentations to the student and staff winners who applied for funding for items to be used for special projects at their schools.

Four students from Smith Middle School received grant awards along with six staff members from various campuses around Beaumont.
