CASA of Southeast Texas is gearing up for its annual “Casas for CASA” fundraiser. This event is not just building playhouses. It is about rebuilding the shattered lives of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Volunteers advocate for these children on a daily basis so CASA is able to rebuild strong, confident children who will one day become productive citizens in Southeast Texas.

Kent Walston, 58th District Court judge and president of the CASA of Southeast Texas Board of Directors, knows first-hand the vital work CASA performs.
