Classic Movie Night continues at the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont on Friday, Oct. 2, with the 1984 release Purple Rain. Written and directed by Albert Magnoli, Purple Rain is a rock musical drama starring Prince, who is a young musician tormented by an abusive situation at home. He must contend with a rival singer, a burgeoning romance and his own dissatisfied band as his star begins to rise.

Classic Movie Night continues at the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont on Friday, Sept. 11, with the 1966 Spaghetti Western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Written by Sergio Leone, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is the third and final film of the Dollars Trilogy, which follows A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More.

Classic Movie Night continues at the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont on Thursday, Aug. 6 with the musical-drama Mo Better Blues. Written, produced and directed by Spike Lee, the film debuted in 1990 starring Lee along with Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes, Giancarlo Esposito, Joie Lee, Cynda Williams and comedian Robin Harris in his final film, who passed five months before.

Classic Movie Night at the historic Jefferson Theatre continues with one of the best movies of all time, Raging Bull, on Friday, July 10, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Beaumont Civic Center box office or immediately before the show at the Jefferson Theatre. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
