The Museum of the Gulf Coast will host a free Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a day filled with arts, crafts, science experiments, hands-on demonstrations of Victorian and quilting crafts, plus learn how to spin, weave and knit through traditional art forms. Despite historic flooding by the Sabine River, the City of Orange Convention & Visitor’s Bureau happily announced that the 14th annual Art in the Park will go on as planned Saturday, April 9, at Stark Park (711 Green Ave.) from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
