On Monday, October 26, 2015, at approximately 7:15 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash on US 96 in Hardin County, near the Garden Suites motel just north of Silsbee, involving a passenger vehicle and a truck tractor semi-trailer.

There was a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at Taylor's Bayou in Jefferson County at approximately 7 am Monday, Oct. 19, 2015.

According to Trooper Stephanie Davis, both a Dodge and a Freightliner were traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 at Taylor's Bayou. It is unclear as to which vehicle failed to drive in a single lane before the two collided. After impact, the Dodge caught fire.

On Sunday, October 18, 2015, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a five-vehicle crash occurred on US 69 at Oil Field Road in Hardin County. The collision sent nine people to area hospitals.

According to Trooper Stephanie Davis, since all occupants of the multiple-vehicle crash were transported to receive medical attention, the specific details of the incident are unclear. Troopers believe the initial crash was a head-on collision between a Mercedes and a Nissan, and three other vehicles crashed into those two.

At approximately 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, DPS troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 90 and Turner Road in China, Texas. Three people were transported to St. Elizabeth hospital.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at approximately 1 p.m., there was a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at the Simmons Drive exit in Orange County.

According to a press release, a 2007 Chevrolet passenger vehicle was eastbound on Interstate 10. For an unknown reason, the driver of the Chevrolet took the Simmons Drive exit (mile marker 878) at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle went down the exit ramp in a side skid, continued over a curb, and struck a metal beam.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, the Texas Department of Public Safety was notified of a plane crash near Dam B in Martin Dies State Park about 8 miles west of Jasper, Texas. 

According to a press release, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft (N4151Q) was en route to Louisiana before crash landing near Damn B in Martin Dies State Park. According to the pilot, the aircraft ran out of fuel.
