Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in getting dangerous drug dealers and drug users, along with the poisonous products they carry, off the streets. To that end, The Examiner will periodically feature a list of five persons accused of drug-related crimes here in High Five.

“Crime Stoppers and The Examiner are teaming up to fight the drug problem in Southeast Texas,” Beaumont Police Officer Carol Riley of Crime Stoppers said.

The Crime Stoppers of the Year Awards reception, held Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Beaumont Event Centre, celebrated not only the success of the program but also three citizens who have aided in the mission to make Beaumont’s streets safer for the community.

Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at approximately 3:30 p.m., an armed robbery occurred in the 9400 block of Highway 365 at the Country Corner Store.

This week, Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help locating five of Beaumont’s most wanted drug dealers.

Timothy Joseph Aubrey is a 34-year-old black male, 5-feet-10 and 150 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and several tattoos. Aubrey is wanted for delivery of a controlled substance and has a $1 million bond.

The Beaumont Police Department and Beaumont Animal Services are teaming up with Crime Stoppers to combat animal abuse and neglect.

The reorganization and enhancement of Animal Services, with Crime Stoppers on board, will give citizens a better resource for reporting animal cruelty and abuse anonymously. A unit is being assigned to caring and adopting out animals, while another will be strictly tasked with addressing animal abuse complaints, with a detective designated specifically to investigating these crimes.

The Beaumont Police Department is searching for a suspect in the early morning weekend robbery of a Beaumont business, reports BPD.

A string of pharmacy burglaries along the I-10 corridor has the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers requesting the public’s assistance in solving the crimes. Family Pharmacy, 207 East Railroad, China was burglarized in the early hours of Wednesday, Dec. 17. Deputies responded to an alarm and upon arrival they found that entry had been made into the building via the front door. The thieves appeared to have targeted the pharmacy removing a quantity of narcotic medications. This burglary is similar to a burglary that occurred on the previous day, Dec.
