More than 45% of the registered voters in Southeast Texas turned out for the Nov.

There are a host of state, federal, county and other elections next month and the deadline to register to vote is drawing near.

The last day to register to vote for the 2022 Texas Primaries is Jan. 31. Voters may check if they are registered to vote with their County Voter Registrar or at votetexas.gov.
