Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to an early morning fire just before 5:30 a.m. on Monday, May 19, that appears to have begun in the kitchen of the residence and spread to the attic, according to investigators.

The Beaumont Fire Department reports units responded to a reported structure fire in the 3600 block of West Lynwood Drive. When firefighters arrived, they found the attic of the home on fire. The homeowner and his daughter were home at the time of the fire and were able to escape without injury.

According tot he news release from the Beaumont Fire Department, when firefighters arrived at the residence they found flames licking out from the front window of the home. Firefighters were able to confine the fire to one room.

Firefighters arrived within minutes after a 911 call alerted them to a house fire at 1310 Galway Sunday, March 30, in Beaumont’s west end. 

Shortly after 3:40 p.m., Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to find heavy flames engulfing the attic of the home and thick smoke billowing throughout the neighborhood.

Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a house fire in the 5700 block of Glasgow Lane in Beaumont on Friday evening, March 7, that investigators believe was caused by an electrical short.

According to a news release from the Beaumont Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the residence at shortly after 10 p.m.and found a wall of the kitchen at the home ablaze. Firefighters extinguished the flames, which appeared to investigators to have been confined to the single wall of the kitchen.
