May 14 around 11 p.m., deputies with the Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force were conducting surveillance on a known meth dealer when they stopped a green Honda passenger car on Highway 73 near Big Hill. The two occupants were identified as Jose Hugo White and Buster Hawk Kay. White, the owner of the car, gave deputies consent to search the vehicle. Deputies discovered 28.33 grams of meth concealed under the hood. A loaded Taurus revolver was located inside the car. Both White and Kay are convicted felons.

Friday, Feb. 2, around 1 p.m., deputies with the Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force were investigating complaints about narcotics being sold from a house on Houston Street in Beaumont.

A woman who was reportedly flashing a firearm in traffic was searched and arrested on multiple charges after police in Vidor discovered 45 baggies of synthetic marijuana inside her vehicle.

Friday, Aug. 5, at 7:45 a.m., Beaumont narcotics detectives executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant at an apartment in the 2100 block of McFaddin St. SWAT made entry into the house and secured three residents inside. Once the scene was secured, a search of the residence revealed powder cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, two handguns, and over $2,000 cash.

Two women are in custody on aggravated assault charges stemming from altercation on Washington Boulevard in Beaumont on July 12, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

A woman in Vidor with an uninvited guest told police she asked the apparently intoxicated intruder to leave her residence several times, and he refused. When he exited but then tried to push his way back into her apartment, the woman said she was forced to display her handgun in order to keep the man at bay until police arrived.

Police officers investigating a rash of burglaries in Beaumont’s West End arrested one suspect they believe participated in multiple crimes, stealing weapons, jewelry, electronics and numerous other items from several residences.

Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at 2 p.m., a search warrant was executed at 3520 Ridgemont Drive in Orange, Texas.

The warrant was from a combined investigation between the Orange Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
