A 39-year-old Vidor man with a history of crimes against the state has now been indicted by a federal grand jury and charged with firearms violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Joseph D. Brown March 7.

Brandon Aaron Holeman was named in a three-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury on March 6, charging him with two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm.

Two Beaumont men were arrested the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 19, after a traffic stop ended in the discovery of narcotics, fire arms and multiple warrants.

Investigators executing a search warrant in Orange discovered large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine along with multiple firearms and arrested two people on Oct. 29, reports the Orange Police Department.

On Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 4:27 a.m., the Port Arthur Police Department received a report of a window being shot. Upon arrival, officers were told a woman and her boyfriend had been in a verbal altercation with a male subject, but had forced him to leave the residence. Shortly after, the couple was standing in their living room when a gun shot broke the window they were standing near.
