Already in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail for a slew of felony allegations after he and alleged co-conspirators Demarcus Brown, 26, and Fredrick Tyson, 21, were arrested in the midst of a crime spree that targeted Beaumont’s West End earlier this year, 19-year-old Corbin Branch is facing additional felony charges after a grand jury handed up indictments this week alleging even more bad acts committed by the teenage criminal.

When Beaumont Police Officer Michael Jones responded to a routine call reporting suspicious persons lurking in the dumpster area of a closed business near Interstate 10 in the wee morning hours of March 15, it didn’t take long for the public servant to decipher that at least one of the persons of interest was indeed participating in criminal behavior.

Footage of Demarcus Brown being forcibly taken into police custody at a Beaumont Wal-Mart in April of 2016 made the habitual criminal quasi famous as an alleged victim of overzealous law enforcement. What the footage doesn’t show, however, is how often Brown is taken into custody.

Out on bond for the Wal-Mart theft charge and probation violation, Brown again found himself in handcuffs at the Beaumont Police Department on Wednesday, March 15, facing yet another theft charge.
