Linnard Couch, 41, was indicted for felony theft with a $5,000 bond.

Galveston County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an accidental shooting on Sunday, July 30 in the 4700 block of 6th St. in Bacliff, Texas, Sheriff Henry Trochesset said in a release. When deputies arrived at about 6:20 p.m., they found the boyfriend of the victim standing outside the residence.

Wednesday, June 21, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office of two elderly people reported missing Tuesday, June 20.

One of the individuals was reported to be suffering from dementia and the other was reported to have Alzheimer’s. They were believed to be in Galveston County, possibly on the Port Bolivar Peninsula.
