June 15, at about 7:30 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of a multiple-vehicle crash on I-10 in Jefferson County, Sgt. Stephanie Davis said in a release. The crash occurred about one mile west of Ford Park.

DPS can confirm that one person is deceased and two others have been transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries.

UPDATE: The I-10 closures between SH 73 and FM 365 scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night have been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Cindy, TxDOT spokesperson Sarah Dupre said in a release.
