The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce partnered with the American Petroleum Institute for a crawfish boil at the downtown Event Centre on Thursday evening, April 18. Hundreds of letters of support addressed to the State Department were signed seeking the permit to approve construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
The announcement in late January that Gov. Dave Heineman of Nebraska has given his approval to a revised route for the Keystone XL pipeline has put the issue squarely back on the White House’s plate.
