Port Arthur police are still searching for a woman who hit a Port Arthur police officer with her car, PAPD Officer Michael Hebert said in a statement on Feb. 13.

Port Arthur police were dispatched to Villa Main Apartment complex on Dec. 8 at 10:55 p.m due to reported gunfire.

Officers discovered a man and woman had a physical altercation with other people in the apartment parking lot. During the incident, a man pointed a handgun at the 911 caller and shot his car multiple times as he was trying to leave the scene, causing him to hit several other cars in the lot. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer's arrival.
