Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School’s Team Force came ready to play March 8, as they held their annual basketball game against the Nederland Dynamo Dogs, LCM CISD Community Relations Specialist Sherry Combs said in a release. 

Having lost the last three years, the team was determined to bring home the trophy, and that they did with a 28 to 20 victory against the Dogs. Fellow classmates cheered the team on and the encouragement, determination and coaching from some of the varsity basketball team, carried the day. Dr. Jim Armstrong officiated the game.

Two Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School football players took advantage of National Signing Day to ink with the colleges of their choice. Mitchell Lee signed with Southeastern Louisiana University and Stuart Viator with Stephen F. Austin University. Both Lee and Viator played tight end for the Bears.
