Officer Bryan Hebert

With a style probably best described as “Mardi Gras” and a sound that’s nothing if not eclectic and cool, New Orleans “super pop” group Bag of Donuts will headline the annual Officer Bryan Hebert Memorial Foundation concert at the IBEW Local Union 479 hall at 1430 Spindletop Ave. in Beaumont on Saturday, Jan. 27, beginning at 6 p.m.

Rounding out the night of special performances, the stage will also boast crowd favorites Spencer Marks, Jimmy Kaiser and Lee Pelly.

Jake Worthington, runner-up of Season 6 of NBC’s hit singing competition The Voice, returns to Southeast Texas and this time will perform at Charlie’s Bar & Grill in Winnie on Friday, Jan. 26, at 9 p.m. Worthington, from La Porte, opened up a lot of eyes in 2014 when country singer Blake Shelton picked Jake to be on his team during that season of The Voice.

Grammy nominated New Orleans native Andrew Duhon comes to Beaumont to with his honest and gritty voice to play Courville’s on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Duhon has released three albums, his first in 2009 titled Songs I Wrote Before I Knew You recorded in Nashville with three-time Grammy winner Trina Shoemaker. A year later, Duhon released Dreaming When You Leave, an EP with Grammy winning producer John Synder. Duhon’s latest effort came in 2013, The Moorings, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album.
