Instead of the crashing of the waves in Galveston, it was the rumbling of a sea of bikes.
For the past 15 years, bikers from all over the country have converged on the island to celebrate at the Lone Star Rally. And in 2016, from the seawall to the historic strand, a reported 576,000 bike enthusiasts (and 300,000 bikes) were hanging out and enjoying the largest four-day rally in North America.
