Lutcher Theater

Lutcher Theater commemorates the milestone of reaching 1 million patrons attending Lutcher events during the 39th Season with a "Thanks A Million" celebration at Finding Neverland on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m.

In honor of the momentous triumph the Lutcher staff invites all Finding Neverland patrons to enjoy the festivities including pre-show lobby entertainment, special treats served at intermission, and the chance to win incredible prizes.

True to its mission, the Lutcher Theater in Orange delivered professional entertainment for the enlightenment and cultural growth of people living in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana and delivered it in spades by hosting a remarkable music theater troupe known as “The Choir of Man.”

The excitement is building for Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts’ 39th season with 14 incredible events, including nine national tours of Broadway shows, one “Pub Concert,” one Christmas musical drama, one onstage radio play and two Grammy-winning recording artists. The lineup offers a world-class experience to every audience member, along with unforgettable memories.

The Board of Directors and administrative staff of the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation congratulate the winners of the 2018 County Finals of the 114th Miriam Lutcher Stark Contest in Reading and Declamation. Sunday, April 29, 2018, students who had previously won first place at the various local level competitions held at each of the five Orange County public high schools competed in the categories of Declamation and Interpretive Reading at the County Finals held at the Lutcher Theater.

From “Kinky Boots to Cinderella slippers” the upcoming Lutcher Theater season presents 13 incredible and diverse events, including eight Broadway shows, an unprecedented musical act, contemporary dance, a spectacular holiday family event and the ever-popular fall outdoor concert event, Symphony at Shangri La featuring the Symphony of Southeast Texas.
