Friday, Aug. 5, at 7:45 a.m., Beaumont narcotics detectives executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant at an apartment in the 2100 block of McFaddin St. SWAT made entry into the house and secured three residents inside. Once the scene was secured, a search of the residence revealed powder cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, two handguns, and over $2,000 cash.

Police called out to assist an animal services officer who was allegedly attacked while investigating an animal cruelty case reportedly discovered 25 pounds of marijuana in the assailant's home, according to a news release from Beaumont Police Department Officer Carol Riley.

Saturday, Jan. 9, at 11:46 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4900 block of Avie Lane in Beaumont after four males in a white Yukon were seen attempting to steal a trailer that had an ATV on it. The caller told dispatch that the suspects hooked the trailer up to the suspect vehicle and left.

The swift action of Beaumont Police officers led to three arrests and the recovery of a stolen vehicle on Jan. 7, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

According to a news release from BPD, shortly after their shift began, officers in Beaumont’s north end were patrolling in the 5000 block of Helbig Road. As they were patrolling, officers identified a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Patrol officers found the vehicle to be occupied by three individuals, one of whom was a suspect in several violent crimes.

According to reports from the Orange Police Department, one officer made two separate arrests in a single stop and another officer investigated an attack on three individuals inside a vehicle who got more than they bargained for when stopping for snacks.
