A Lumberton man riding a motorcycle in a two-vehicle crash was fatally injured July 24, reports the Beaumont Police Department. 

According to a news release from BPD, officers responded to a wreck involving a motorcycle and a van at the intersection of Calder Avenue and MLK in Beaumont at about 3:30 p.m.

Around 6:38 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, patrol officers responded to a reported body in the roadway in the 5400 block of South MLK near Florida Street. Upon arrival, officers located the deceased female.

A driver of a 2005 black Toyota Corolla crashed into a metal utility pole separating it from its base near the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and Oakland in Beaumont around 11 a.m. Friday morning, Sept. 6. According to Sgt. Robert Flores of the Beaumont Police Department, the man was headed northbound on MLK, veered across the southbound lane and struck the pole, knocking it down.
