A motorcyclist died Friday, April 27, when he rear-ended a truck that was slowing to turn on Highway 105 in Hardin County.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to the multiple vehicle crash on SH 105 in Hardin County at approximately 4:15p.m.  The crash occurred about two miles east of Sour Lake.

A Beaumont man riding a motorcycle died in a one-vehicle accident in Orange County on April 22.

At approximately 3 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Orange County.  The crash occurred near mile marker 870 and involved a motorcycle.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10.  For an unknown reason, the driver lost control and fell off the motorcycle.

At approximately 4:30 p.m.  March 24, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a one-vehicle crash on Turner Road in Orange County.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 2009 Honda motorcycle was traveling southbound on Turner Road.  For an unknown reason, the driver lost control and fell off the motorcycle.

A man riding a motorcycle was killed in an accident March 10, reports Officer Haley Morrow of the Beaumont Police Department.

Beaumont Police responded to the 4500 block of Magnolia at 5:53 p.m.in reference to a major traffic crash involving a motorcycle. Investigation revealed that a pick-up truck turned in front of the motorcyclist, who was traveling southbound on Magnolia. Beaumont EMS responded and transported the victim to St.ElizabethHospitalwhere he died a short time later. The victim was identified as 57-year-old Ronald Davis.

At approximately 1:45p.m. on Jan. 13, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near mile marker 876 in Orange County. The crash involved three motorcycles and a passenger vehicle.

Preliminary reports indicate that there was traffic congestion in the westbound traffic lanes of the interstate due to an earlier crash. A Dodge minivan was stopped when it was rear-ended by two Harley-Davidson motorcycles. A third Harley-Davidson motorcycle failed to control its speed and became involved in the crash.

On Nov. 18, at about 6:15 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic on I-10 in Orange County when the driver of a Honda motorcycle failed to stop for troopers.

Sunday, Oct. 15, around 2 a.m. Beaumont Police Officers along with Beaumont EMS responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Fourth Street and Bowie involving a black Honda Civic and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, identified as Tyler Shane Lisenby, 20, from Orange, was dead at the scene.

The Beaumont Traffic Unit was called out to investigate the scene. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Fourth Street when the Honda Civic collided with the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control.

Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6:43 a.m., Beaumont police responded to a major crash involving a truck and a motorcycle. Both vehicles were traveling west in the 5700 block of Washington when the driver of the truck attempted to make a U-turn. The motorcycle was unable to stop and struck the front left quarter panel of the truck. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to injuries suffered in the wreck.

On March 21, about 8:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) responded to a one vehicle crash on FM 421 in Hardin County, which occurred about four miles west of Lumberton, TxDPS Sgt. Stephanie Davis reported.
