Narcotics Task Force officers discovered 137 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on eastbound I-10 near mile marker 839 on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 12:09 p.m.
The white Chevrolet truck was pulled over for “following too closely” and “unsafe lane change” according to the statement. The officer conducting the stop noticed a strong scent of air freshener, which is “commonly used to mask the smell of marijuana.”
