Thomas A. Boudreaux

Thomas A. Boudreaux died July 12, 2017.

He was a member of Sabine Tabernacle for 87 years and leader of the Young Couples League for nearly 40 of them.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid bird watcher. The only thing he loved more than watching the Dallas Cowboys were his daily walks with his prized Labradoodle, Molly.

Larry Dale Allen Sr., 62, formerly of Lumberton, died July 7, 2017.  

Born in Beaumont on May 6, 1955, Larry is the son of J.D. Allen Sr. and Adelle Thompson Allen of Lumberton. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Allen, and son Chase Douglas Allen.

Mary Anne Stedman Howell, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, June 5, 2017, in the serenity of her home, leaving behind her loving family who adored her so.

Detective Robert Ener, a 29-year veteran of the Beaumont Police Department who had been battling cancer, passed away over the weekend on May 28 at age 59, reports the department. 

In a statement, BPD remembered the long-time officer and brother in blue, and thanked the community for reaching out to help with medical expenses during a benefit held for Ener earlier this year.

Jerry Hentschel, 84, of Beaumont died Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born May 28, 1932, in La Grange to Julie and Johnny Hentschel. Coach Hentschel was a United States Army veteran. He was a graduate of Sam Houston University and former football coach for South Park and West Brook high schools.

John Thomas “Tom” Arrington, 78, died April 17, 2017.

From a humble beginning in the hills of Fayette County, West Virginia, Tom Arrington’s early life mirrored that of Homer Hickam’s in the movie “October Sky,” with one notable exception: Tom’s father did not want him to follow his footsteps into the coal mine, and he actually encouraged him to further his education. So Tom pursued his interest in science and mathematics, claimed Mountaineer status, and earned a chemistry degree.

Billie Louise (West) Miller, 87, passed from her earthly life in the early morning hours on March 1, 2017, surrounded by family at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Louise was born Oct. 5, 1929 in Houston to loving parents William Wesley and Emily West. Her parents and her older sister, Vera Hortense Parrish, preceded her in death.

John Thomas Bebeau

John Thomas Bebeau, 60, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. He was born Dec. 12, 1956, to Dr. Eugene Russell Bebeau Sr. and Grace Kouns, in Beaumont. John Thomas was delivered as a package deal along with his twin sister, Charlotte Anne.

As a child, he was constantly motivated to keep his eight brothers and sisters smiling. Whether the jokes involved silly pranks or jumping on mattresses past bedtime with his older sister, Cathy, it was no doubt that John loved the sound of laughter.
