Beaumont Animal Services wants the Southeast Texas community to foster lonely shelter pets for the holidays. For the seventh year in a row, Beaumont Animal Services is participating in the national “Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays” pet fostering program. This year's program will run from Dec. 2 through Jan. 3. All adoption fees will be discounted 50% during this program. Across the country, over 13,000 pet rescue organizations are trying to empty their kennels for Christmas, encouraging members of the public to invite a pet home for the holidays.
