According to news released by the Orange Police Department on May 1, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, officers from the OPD Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 3819 Meeks Dr. Apt. L7. Officers seized two grams of crack cocaine, one Hydrocodone pill, and two vials of anabolic steroids.  Officers also found a .45 caliber pistol.  Cody Dwayne Janice, 22, was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail.

An Orange resident was the victim of a burglary Tuesday. Orange Police responded to a call regarding a burglary at 110 Schley Ave. on Jan. 23 at about 3:21 p.m. The victim reported his door had been kicked in sometime between 6 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 22. The man told police he was out and when he returned home he found his back door had been kicked in. Approximately $750 in property was missing from the residence, including a gold chain and a Sony Playstation 3.

Officers with the Orange Police Department arrested a Louisiana man after a routine traffic stop led them to discover narcotics in the man’s car. On Tuesday, Jan. 22 at approximately 7:48 p.m., Officer Jeff Busby reported he observed a black 1995 Dodge Ram driving in the 1100 block of Burton St. in Orange. According to the report, the vehicle’s license plate was partially obstructed by an oversized trailer hitch, and the driver did not give adequate warning when making a right-hand turn, at which point he was pulled over.
