A woman who admitted being high on "Woo," which police identified as a synthetic marijuana blend, and her male companion were arrested after allegedly arguing in the open street during the mandatory evacuation in east Orange on March 17, reports Officer Stephen Ward of the Orange Police Department.

Police report that a burglary suspect attempting to break into a house in Orange was at the hospital receiving medical treatment March 15 after the homeowner of the residence fought back against the imprudent intruder.

State troopers and other law enforcement officers caught up with and arrested a suspect who fled during a traffic stop in Orange on March 17, reports Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper David Henry.

According to Henry, DPS troopers attempted to stop a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant on S.H. 87 north of Orange at approximately 6:45 a.m., but the driver of the vehicle failed to halt. He continued to evade officers, traveling southbound on S.H. 87 until they spiked the vehicle’s tires.
